Harper Adams University is seeking an Executive Assistant take on a demanding role working directly with the University’s Vice-Chancellor.

The holder of this post will provide comprehensive, proactive and professional administrative support service for the Vice-Chancellor and, where required from time to time, other members of the University’s Senior Management Team.  The post holder will also be responsible for the co-ordination of events run by the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, and for assisting with other events and activities organised by other University departments.  The effective provision of support for the Vice-Chancellor will require liaison with a wide range of external bodies, often at very senior level, and the co-ordination of information from across the University. 

To successfully fill this role, you should have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent administration and IT skills
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Previous administrative experience
