We are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for a Building Fabric Tradesperson to join the Estates Maintenance Team at Harper Adams University.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Carrying out reactive maintenance and providing front line response for all fabric work;
  • Ensuring the University Estate is maintained to a high standard;
  • Carrying out fault finding, testing, repairing and preventative maintenance of service equipment;
  • Working closely with and supporting the wider Estates team
  • Reporting any Health and Safety issues as required; and
  • Maintaining accurate records of breakdowns and maintenance repairs, including records for statutory compliance.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Multi-skilled with a good working knowledge of industry requirements for building & refurbishments;
  • Robust approach to compliance with current regulations and legislation;
  • Ability to work within a team with a range of skills and experience;
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks.
