Harper Adams University is seeking an individual with proven experience in successful delivery of both small and large capital projects.  

The role of Senior Capital Project Manager offers the chance to join the University at an exciting time for the development of the estate. The successful candidate will manage a new capital projects team, to deliver an innovative 10-year capital development programme at the Newport campus. The University is looking for individuals with a passion for creating high quality learning, research, working and living environments which will make the most out of the beautiful campus setting. They will be able to blend the modern with the historic buildings of the University and will deliver both landmark and support buildings equally effectively.

The role will be responsible for capital development across a wide variety of interesting building types, both new build and refurbishment, meeting operational needs but supporting the University’s target of net carbon zero by 2030. The right person will be a pragmatic, solutions focussed individual with a professional accreditation, able to manage multiple capital projects at various stages of implementation. They will be able to work productively with stakeholders right across the University as well as external consultants and contractor teams to deliver capital projects to programme.
