Harper Adams University seeks a highly motivated, innovative and experienced veterinary physiotherapist with interests across all areas of veterinary physiotherapy education, practice and research to direct the veterinary physiotherapy programme at Harper Adams University.

This is a vitally important role with leadership, teaching and research responsibilities, and as such we are seeking someone who can use their experience, knowledge and skills to enhance our undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary physiotherapy programmes, while also further developing veterinary physiotherapy research at the University through securing external public research funding.

This is an exciting time in the development of Harper Adams University, with the very well-established and highly regarded veterinary physiotherapy and veterinary nursing programmes now joined by veterinary medicine through the Harper & Keele Veterinary School, which had its first student intake in September 2020. This provides excellent opportunities for interprofessional education between these allied professions, and the opportunity to develop a novel and innovative education and research portfolio.

It is essential the successful candidate holds an undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualification in veterinary physiotherapy and that they have high-level clinical physiotherapy skills and experience in scientific research. It is also essential that the successful candidate can work within and lead a team, and has high-level interpersonal skills.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Dr Philip Robinson, Head of the Department of Veterinary Health and Animal Sciences at
