An exciting position has become available for a full-time University Surveyor based at Harper Adams University in Shropshire.  The successful candidate will be responsible for specific projects within the Estates Capital Programme on behalf of Harper Adams University supporting the delivery of the Estates Strategy.

This is a varied role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for multiple projects from concept to completion, balancing budget and programme requirements, and ensuring that the physical environment delivery meets a wide range of academic delivery needs.

The role will include the allocation of resources and the planning and management of project workload across a team of individuals with a range of skills and experience. 

The role holder will work alongside multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-moving environment. The successful candidate must be highly organised with outstanding attention to detail, pro-active and adaptable with exceptional leadership and team-working skills.  With responsibility for overall project management from concept to finalisation, the successful candidate will add substantial benefit to the Estates department.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project risk management, with clear skills in identifying potential risks and managing these throughout the duration of each project.
