Harper Adams University are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead on, and drive forward the operation of an outreach delivery hub as we enter an exciting new phase of the Uni Connect Programme.

This integral role will be responsible for meeting all school engagement targets for the project by overseeing the delivery of outreach activities and events to a target list of secondary schools and college throughout Shropshire and Staffordshire under direction from the Central Management Team at Keele University. The Hub Manager will be responsible for the management of the delivery Hub budget; the management of data collection and evaluation of outreach projects; and meeting reporting requirements set by the Central Management Team and the Office for Students. The Hub Manager will also have line management responsibility for the Delivery Hub team.

The Higher Horizons Delivery Hub is responsible for the delivery of outreach activities on behalf of the Higher Horizons Uni Connect Partnership. Uni Connect is a national widening access to university programme funded by the Office for Students. It aims to equip young people from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education with the information, advice and guidance they need to make informed higher education choices and ultimately increase the numbers of students progressing to university-level study from underrepresented backgrounds. Uni Connect is targeted to those areas with low rates of progression to university, and lower than expected progression rates given GCSE attainment.

Uni Connect has been funded since 2017, and is due to run until July 2025, with funding currently confirmed until 31 July 2022. This role is fixed term until 31st July 2022 in the first instance, with the potential to extend to July 2025 once funding is confirmed.
